Tomatoes and Peppers side by side?
« on: May 12, 2020, 21:52 »
My neighbour has very kindly given over his lovely big greenhouse for me to use. This is my first experience of growing plants in a greenhouse with growbags.
Today I planted out my tomatoes into the bags and I have red peppers to go in when the seedlings are more developed.
I have one cherry tomato plant in a growbag and I'm planning to pop two of the pepper plants into the same bag. Does anyone know if I'm courting disaster by putting them in the same bag?
Thanks

I've done it before with no problem, make sure you keep an eye on watering in growbags, they do dry out very quickly on a sunny day ...

Thanks, Lesley. That's a relief to know, I didn't want to 'waste' a growbag on just one tomato plant. :)
