Hi I’ve started growing some vegetables, noticed some plants have been a meal for some form of pest. I found a cluster of tiny yellow yoga on the underneath of the leaves on the broccoli plants, didn’t take a picture at the time.
Also my broccoli leaves have been a meal.
Are these just caterpillars? Or something else as I’ve not seen any pests about.
Also what is the best non chemical way of getting rid??
Thanks.

Yellow eggs are from cabbage white butterflies, but the the damage to the broccoli looks like slugs to me. There are various non-chemical routes like beer traps, or spreading crushed eggshells around. Slugs will be around at night so you might not see them.
The beetroot (or is it chard) look fine. I would not worry about the odd hole in leaf. They will grow through that.
