does anyone know when to plant rasberies strawberries gooseberries and blueberries for fruiting next year also the best place to get them

get them in autumn or spring .dig a trench 18 inch wide prepare the bed with a good dollop of manure  ,then place the roots in and back fill to the original level marked on the plant water and prepare the wires and posts

with the weather as it is - i think anytime would be good. :lol:

on a more serious note:

plant out strawberries now
transplant raspberries now
blueberries -anytime between autumn-spring
gooseberries -anytime between autumn-spring - when mild.

re where to get - get from someone local that you trust.

i always take cuttings / runners etc from friends good stock

ask your fellow plotters - see if they have some spare
