Not to make you jealous or anything, by my little Jelly (unknown hybrid) started laying at 15 weeks, and she is currently laying (at 22 weeks) 5 eggs a week.

She is so petite compared to my other pullets, and yet she is the friendliest one of the bunch.  she always comes to say hello, and she is also the only one of which I can stroke

You should have got white leghorns, I have 15 adult hens and even though they are moulting, I am getting between 10 -15 large white eggs a day

you lucky thing, my whire leghorn is moulting and looking pretty straggly and we haven't had an egg for almost 4 weeks,

i have 3 white sussex and they will be a year in november only 2 are laying....the third (janet) she has a floppy comb on the top of her head just wondering if that means anything?
My other 3 hens are too young to lay only around 14weeks...canny wait!!
