inside the hen house

hi all, me again!

if i was going to put perching in the hen house what is the best thing to use, size etc as i want to try and get it right first time

I used a bit of 2x3 with the edges rounded off, they like the wider side to perch on, make sure you can remove it easy to dust underneath for mites etc. 3 birds will probably need a 30" perch bit longer if you can so they can spread out in the summer and huddle in the winter.
