If I leave one of my Doric F1 sprout plants to flower, would I be able to collect useable seeds from it?

Two related questions - would the plant definitely flower and would the seeds produce true Doric plants?

F1's are bred from two specific parents the characteristics of which on their own may not be desireable.

The offspring of an F1 may show these characteristics.

The seed of your Doric will not have these two specific parents, therefore it cannot by definition be a Doric.
