hi everyone i am going to try making my own back the old fashion way does any one know wher i can get salt for curing as i can only find it at £20 for abot 5kilo which is a hell of a lot of money when just trying it out for the first time . yours big green bloke  :tongue2:

Can't you use ordinary cooking salt then?  60p-odd for 1.5kg from Tesco.

thats the stuff ,just buy the saxo stuff i do and then use mollases and smoke it . or just dry cure it
