Apparently I need an iphone, android or tablet, is a tablet the same a my ipad ?   If not can I buy a recon phone and pay as I go instead of being tied into a monthly fee, and can I keep the same number as is on my old mobile.   Damned insurance, too complicated for this old bird.      Mrs Bouquet

An iPad is much the same as an iPhone Mrs B so you shouldn't need to buy any more tech.

I think they are saying you just need a device that will use an application or app, rather than a conventional computer that uses programs or an older style mobile phone that is not a smart phone.

You should be able to go to the App Store on your iPad, search for the one your leak bot needs and download it.
