Well i usually buy the good food mag but refuse to now as it almost £5 so i paild £1 for the sainsburys mag and found this recipe , ive never maid donut s before so i dont know if the recipe is different can i post it or will it be a copy right issue .
anyway i only made up 2 to see hoe they were and they were nice and fluffy inside they did have a flatter bottom but i think if i prove them in a rounded bun tin might give them a more rounded shape but apart from that they were great , ive frozen the rest un filled for a later date and do some lemon curd ones .
i could ps the recipe if you like .

They usually are but also laden with fat (which is part of the attraction I suppose) In these days of trying to eat healthier......

Mind you, a donut is not a donut without a covering of some sort of sugar and a squidgy filling. A no-win situation.....

Must admit, never heard of a baked doughnut.

We have been buying the 65p 5 pack ones in Morrisons regularly, with strawberry Jam, some of the tastiest ones we have ever had, slightly smaller than your normal doughnuts too.

I got a recipe from Lakeland for their baked donuts, but am also trying to lose a bit of weight, so keep putting it off.

Those ones look lovely Chrissie!
