the arrival of one gosling, sex unknown at present time.

Thursday evening at 8pm, currently sunbathing under infra-red light.  Sadly other 5 eggs didnt make it but 1 is good by me.

She (goose/oie is always female in French, so she for now) is a noisy little b***er.  Will post pictures when the surrogate parents can take a suitable one for me.

Oooh how lovely If she is by herself, give her a peluche to snuggle up to.  If she has a "friend" she may be a bit quieter too

The Gaffer with new baby, now 10 days old.

She has a pair of wooly socks to cuddle and an old pyjama jacket to snuggle into as well as the infra-red lamp she brought with her from maternity. Very vocal still though.

Er...um........yes.

The Gaffer was being all macho about it "For goodness sake, its a goose"    sort of stuff.  He held her while I fetched some more food for her and I returned to hear him holding a conversation with her!

what breed are the goslings parents? Has it got alot of dark colouring in it or is it light?
