have defrosted some beef made a shed load of burgers to many infact can i safely re freeze also ive made to many kebabs with chunks of steak and peppers mushrooms etc

or am i asking for trouble

You are asking for trouble I'm afraid, the simple solution is to have another bar-b-q tomorrow or simply invite more people  :).

You can only re-freeze if it's been cooked in the meantime.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

^^ as Yorkie says.... rule of thumb is... you cant refreeze after it has thawed out, but if you then cook it, you can freeze it again, but if you then take out cooked food you cant freeze it again... you have to eat it, give it away, or bin it, you can get food poisoning otherwise  :(

Save time by cooking up the extra now, freeze it in portions and you'll have something ready for a busy day.
