[Growster...]

In another post here, Subversive Plot mentions his Thanksgiving menu, and a good one it is as well!

In fact, Damon Runyon's stories have always been a firm favourite with The Growster clan, and this story was mentioned to me many years ago, by my dad! I eventually collected all the stories he ever wrote - some are hilarious, but quite a few are serious, and one is absolutely heart-breaking.

We all probably know about 'Guys and Dolls', and this is definitely one of his best yarns!
