I have such a lot of questions, excuse me for asking so many .  But what about food scraps? What scraps should I be giving my chooks, I mean can they eat left over food (not meat or spicy or anything like that) but beans on toast, rice of general left overs from a roast dinner (veggy one)

You can feed em most leftovers BUT they well may get fat on them, fat hens lay no eggs and it can cause other problems like prolapse. You could give them just a little as a treat, but only give it late afternoon after they have had most of the day to eat their pellets/mash or whatever.

I found mine loved sweetcorn best then rice, peas and and and    not that I spoiled them of course.

I agree with Richy - Chicken feed is best for hens.  Anything cooked with added salt (rice, pasta, potato etc.) should be avoided.  Fresh (raw) greens should be given every day if possible.  

Don't forget to give them calcium (oyster) which they can take if they want to. Layers mash or pellets contains all the calcium the need but only if it is their only food.

white fish .... no oily fish at all. personally i totally disagree with feedding left over stuff ... whos to say its not got contaminated
