Looks very nice Louise.  How many hens is it for ?  You should allow about 1 squ metre of run space per medium sized hen.

If there is any chance that there are foxes around I would consider changing the chicken wire for weldmesh.  Foxes can chew through chicken wire

Its for 3 hens, i plan to let them have the run of the garden so they won't really be in the run much. Its 2ft by 8ft but it could be made bigger quite easily. I hope they like it!!

I'm sure they will love it  :D

It would be too small for them to live in, but as they will be free ranging in the garden most of the time I'm sure they will be very happy  :D

It looks good to me

Consider putting some see through plastic corrugated roofing on the top of the run. It will still let daylight in but help prevent the run from getting wet, muddy and smelly.

Mighty fine coop! Grumpy looking dog though - obviously didnt get enough attention with all the building going on.
When we were getting all excited over our first eggs the cat started racing up and down the two trees next door like a maniac. Funny creature!
