Warning - lotsa photos!

These were taken in early May when the azaleas etc. were out. It'll vary a lot according to the time of year you visit. They were just lifting all the tulips, for instance, when we went.

National Trust property, so free to members.

More later, I hope.

Got to go & feed next door's hamster.

Lovely pictures, and the weather was lovely....er....that was summer in May wasn't it? :D

There are loads of good places to visit around here...but you never appreciate your own back yard do you? We tend to spend too much money and get too tired going to somewhere in England for the day! ::)

Looks a wonderful place - evidently it's ericaceous soil!  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Great pics DD!  :)

(Don't think digital cameras had been invented when I went, but even so your pics are much better than mine!)

Fantastic pictures DD - was that Mrs DD in one of the pictures. A couple of years ago there was a TV series about Bodnant Gardens - they were carrying out a major refurbishment of the gardens and the TV cameras followed it stet-by-step. It was well worth watching.

(Don't think digital cameras had been invented when I went, but even so your pics are much better than mine!)

Digital cameras are one of the best things since sliced bread, especially these buttons on them marked "automatic" & "auto focus".

I used to do a fair bit with an SLR, but with digital there are no film & processing costs and you can keep snapping away until you get one right. The piccies are also more looked at than those in the loft in albums.

You can argue that the quality isn't quite the same, but mine is a 14 mega-pixel with x24 opitical zoom and is more than good enough for me. It didn't cost the earth, in fact it cost less than I paid for an SLR with 2 lenses with a lesser optical flexibilty in 1983!
