Well I thought cabbage whites were bad and netted diligently this year and managed a grow a wonderful bed of 3 varieties of cabbage, kale, cauliflower and romanesco. All beautiful and just coming up for cropping. I am a very proud girl.

Or I was.

It's amazing how much cabbage 4 goats can eat in an afternoon! Came back from work to brassica carnage! It's a good job I love the goats more than kale or it would be goat curry for tea!

That's a cautionary tale. Sorry to hear about your veg. Our dogs are our problem. I still mourn my lovely melon patch.

Tons of Sympathy!! The amount of damage they can do in just a few minutes is awesome. I've tried soo many ways to keep the goats out of my veg plot. Chain link fencing reads "climbing frame" to a goat. I've finally cracked it with stock fencing topped by leccy tape.
