Have you used anything to support them ?, those cheap wooden kebab skewers are handy when the plants are still young, or even thin branch cuttings would do.   I tie some twine loosely around the stem and stick.

I thought about something like that but could not think of what, well thought, I have them in individual pots and largish modules so will do that, will defo pot some into large pots realy for their new home later. Thinks its time to pot them on and give lots away. God knows why i sowed so many. I think next time I will plant less good quality plants rather than lots and lots of maybe weaker ones, thanks for the kebab idea

If they are not touching each other they should  be strong enough not to need support yet.

Have you tried brushing them to make them strengthen their stems?

every year I say I won't sow as many next year, but I'm always taken by suprise how many germinate so I usually pot them all on and babysit them for weeks until finally accepting I've done it again! and then I give them away

Yeah its nice to give them away. I gave some away the other day and told my bro-inlaw I would give him more if he did not murder the ones id given him

Gently stroking them with your hand.

Ah thank you I will do that but not when the husband is home. He may think the toms ger more attention
