meatballs with the rest of last night's  sauce watered down with some stock, pasta and garlic bread.   Filling but not what we really wanted.   We were expecting a chicken and chorizo casserole  with garlic and parsley dumplings which I'd planned but  then we found out it needed cooking for about three hours.  We don't get home until 4.30 (earliest) and we like a bit of 'me time' before we go into what we have to do.  I don't work on  Thursdays so  it will be tomorrows  dinner instead.

Tonight it was rack of lamb, baked onions, hg new potatoes, broad beans & peas, with bought carrots, spoon standing & gooseberry & mint jelly, & profiteroles for him & the other 1/2 of tge salted caramel tart for me. More red for him & a gin & tonic for me,

HM lamb curry last night with wilted plot greens stirred in when reheating it, plus rice, chutneys and some poppadum.  I had done a 4.5 hour stint on the plot yesterday and the poppadum called to me when I stopped at the shop on the way home

It appears the board had my post yesterday for tea (either that or I pressed preview and not post  ::) )

I feel the need for something covered in spoonstanding today, nothing prepared so it will have to be mince (I think I have some pork), mash, stuffing, cabbage and some mixed veg to free some freezer space up.

The half a Quiche from yesterday.  I should have gone shopping today but C.B.B.  It will be half a small tin of b.beans, a little bit of lettuce and two tiny plum tomatoes.

More of the same from yesterday, I have missed a nice bit of cabbage. The burning question being ... as I intentionally cooked 2 meals yesterday am I having leftovers tonight or not  ?
