This year I am trying Celtuce, don't know if anyone else has tried this before?

Tried that last year.... I nibbled a bit but wasn't overly impressed with it as a plant or as a taste. The rest of the seeds went in the seed parcel.

They are still in there -  I didn't fancy it much either  :nowink:

Did like the look of the Waverex petit pois though, so another new one for me  :D

Latest addition to the New for 2015 are English peas, rajama pink indian beans and sweet potatoes. I guess I should get started on that other raises bed!

I have lots of new varieties this year, but this year also is last chance saloon on many veg that I have tried in the past and failed at - melon, luffa, aubergine and a couple of others. Some weird and wonderfuls that I am looking forward to asparagus lettuce, parsley peas and carosello. I loved yakon last year but am really struggling to get the caudices going - fingers crossed.

Luffa sounds like a fun one!
