[3 allotments]

Around 950litres verve mpc so far as i have four allotments to grow for and 13 buckets of chicken manure pellets plus 25L of red diesel for my greenhouse heater and probably about £70.00   on different plants i plough every single spare penny into my gardening hobby (habit)  and possibly £80- £100 on various seeds  not including petrol and oil to feed all my machines, it never ends

like barley i use my own main ingredients wood chips + chickens each autumn dig out pens and start again put new chips down top up as reqd thru year 120 feed bags full last year put into pallet compost bins till march then into g/h borders (old border compost on brassica  beds ) also 10 darlek type bins filled with coop bedding and everything else this i use for potting up etc

I think I have now lost count now... bought a smaller bag as I thought it was enough, then bought another smaller bag and yet another smaller bag and so on!

4 x 125L bags of multi-purpose compost. A small tipper-lorry load of council made soil improver. 200L of home-made compost.

Snap! I know it's more than 12 cos I've had 2 lots of 6 bags delivered from CPL.........that's without the ones from BQ

I won four 70 litre bags in a raffle last year and I have had to buy 2 more since then.

Think we have gone well past 1250L

But have been using to help the poor soil where we have just moved to, planning to get a large amount of well rotten horse manure to go onto the bed to 'winter in'

And have also filled 2 large raised beds- with a mixture of good topsoil and verve MPC

i filled a builders bag with donkey poo and put it in my wheelie bin topped with water so far i have topped it with water once i have had superb results with it all my brassicas and courgettes really do well on it had the best caulis for 3 yrs, toms seem to like it so far see what they taste like soon. apart from some chicken pellets thats all that goes on my plot
