Rather than get drawn into a debate about what is and is not organic, I'll just tell you what I do with my spuds.   Loads and loads of manure, as much comfrey as I can spare and they do great without watering.  I will also be foliar feeding this year for the first time using compost tea.  This is to try to avoid blight rather than to nurture the plant per se.  Basically, I believe in feeding the soil and letting the soil feed the plant.

Do we have a forum member who is in the Soil Association?  I'd love to see their Organic Standards but refuse to pay any body a subscription fee to learn their principles.

According to a web site I was just looking at :-

 Fertiliser products

MOP 'Granular' 60%
 EC-Fertiliser: Muriate of Potash
  60% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide (50% K)
This is the universal potash fertiliser with a water-soluble potassium oxide content of 60% K2O in granular form. MOP 'granular' is suitable for all chloride-tolerant crops and usable on all types of soils.
Potassium Sulphate
SOP 'Standard'
EC-Fertiliser: Sulphate of Potash containing Sulphur
EU-approved for use in organic farming
50% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide (41% K)
45% SO3 water-soluble sulphur trioxide (18% S)

"Reckons its use is organic"
The force is strong in this one!
(As Organic as possible)

Manure when planting.   Wilted comfrey and/or manure before earthing up.
