J Parkers sell some grasses as a pack of however many. Not cheap...

I'll give them a go - although I live in a remote area and people posting on those sites don't tend to want to send stuff long distances.  Have already tried ebay and a few others.

lesleyk - apart from ringing a couple of firms specialising in grasses to ask if they do small sized plants, I'm just wondering - if I dug a couple of small bits from the outside of my grasses, packed damp compost around their roots then put each one into a little polybag fastened with a rubber band, then into a padded envelope and sent them to you, it might work and be an easier way of getting plug-sized grasses. Trouble is that some grasses don't like to be moved at a certain time but can't remember if it is spring or autumn. Worth a try? If so, PM me and I'll do my best. If it doesn't work, there's nothing lost. All except one are perennials and I'll have to look them up and also try to remember what they are - not a problem though.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Goosegirl - thanks for your PM.  I think I replied but haven't quite got the hang of this PM malarkey, so tell me if you didn't get my message and I'll try again.
