This is the latest addition to our family; Reggie is a 6 year old Akita rescue we took in on Monday. He's already settled in beautifully and is charming all the neighbours on his walks

Despite the fact it was tipping it down, Reggie decided to stick his head out of the car window for a whole 30 mile journey today!

There was something on a news story I heard the other day that said they are considering making it illegal for dogs to travel with their heads out of windows.  I can't now remember the reason why but might be something for you to look into before you get 'caught'.

It's already illegal if the dog isn't secured properly.  Then again, it's illegal to use a phone while driving and that doesn't appear to stop most people.

This is Lily, who will be two tomorrow!

She originally came from Romania as a rescue, and while her passport says 'Jack Russell', she has a few other bits and pieces as well...

She was homed by another family who decided that she didn't ft, and was due to be chucked back at the charity last year, but we heard about her impending doom purely by good fortune and coincidence, and by the end of that week last year, she had made her home here!

She's an absolute darling; as noisy as hell, and fiercely loyal, but shows absolutely no aggression!

Ahh happy birthday Lily, she shares the day with my daughter. So pleased she settled right in, she’s a lucky girl to get another chance, she certainly landed on her feet finding you & Mrs G.

We've just got back from a walk, and she's been sidling up to next-door's terrier, and having a whale of a time!

Elder Daughter was over for lunch earlier, and Lily spent much of her time sucking up to her and also showing off...

Been quite a busy day, as ED's birthday is on Wednesday, so we had the celebs today as she'll be working then! Lily gave her a bottle of Vodka to go with the gin-making kit we bought her...:0~
