Here is our new Family member: Celt, he is a Labrador cross sheepdog. So far so good, he's been with us just over a month. I'm hoping to be able to train him to do a bit of "one for the pot" type of shooting with me, although a bit young to start yet.
Cheers
Aled

Our rodent control operatives have decided to take the day off due to snow. The best place to snooze the day away has to be the radiator shelves.
Black & White mog is Niblet, she's a sweetie but likes to be a wild hunter when it's decent weather. Came home one day with a badly damaged eye which the vet couldn't save so spent 6 weeks in a dog crate in the bathroom as keeping one cat in with our mob is impossible. Spent a lot of time playing with her in there though.
The ginger cat is Willow. She was a really affectionate kitten but nowadays is very stand-offish except when she wants something. Her special skill is detecting flea spot on tubes at 300 yards and vanishing.
The sandy cat is Amber. She's totally blind but doesn't let that stop her from roaming and catching mice. She's so capable that it took us 3 days to realise something was up with her sight and visitors look very sceptical when we tell them she can't see.
Finally Lotty, part Bengal she's a bruiser. All the other cats are deferential to her except Amber who loves play fighting with her. Her favourite game is to go out of the cat flap and then demand to be let in through the office window by scratching at it. And repeat.. endlessly :)

My cockerpoo was delighted to be back in her own garden again after a winter in Spain. Picture taken after she 'helped' my husband mow the grass.

Here we have Arthur, at the back, and his brother Merlin. Two from a litter of 5 that were born in our garden they are so loving and gentle it is hard to believe they were wildies. Their three other siblings live with our neighbours across the road.

This is Murray.

His main job is to keep squirrels tree rats out of the garden and away from the bird feeders.  This is successful 56% of the time.  He chases them, never catches them, which is probably related to the barking.

His other jobs include retrieving tennis balls, but only if the game is played indoors.  He also makes sure we get a walk each day, knocks over dry-stacked brick walls, and occasionally makes sure the deck chairs don't float away (chiefly by sitting on them).  And sleeping.
