Raspberry canes
« on: November 13, 2022, 05:55 »
I've just received some beer root raspberry canes as I've just come out of hospital. Having a pacemaker. The raspberry canes were delivered yesterday. Can I put them into pots for now with John Innes, number two or three compost? Until I get to my allotment thank you

Yes they’ll be fine in pots, JI no.3 if you think they’ll be there for a while or potting compost if it’s short term will be fine.

Yes that’ll do. No 1 is for seeds, no 2 for medium term & no 3 for permanent I.e tubs with perennials in.

They need water but that has been no issue here for several weeks.
Must cut the grass if it ever dries out.
Keep digging
