Bluebell bulbs
« on: January 23, 2009, 23:33 »
Last year my MIL donated some bluebell bulbs to me that she'd dug out of her garden. I have a whole carrier bag full.

However, i put them in the outbuilding and forgot all about them, until this morning when the OH came in with a bulb with a 1" shoot coming out of the top

Have i ruined them?    Or would they be ok to plant now? If it's ok to plant them,  should i cover the whole thing including the stem/shoot? Or leave it poking out of the ground...

Thanks  :)
Trying to live the good life.. getting there slooooowly...

Stick them in.

Bury the lot.

They're as tough as old boots!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
