Mystery layer

I have 6 girls, 2 who are now just over 3 years old and 4 that I have not long had and that have only just started to lay around October time.

I wouldn't normally be expecting my 'old' girls to lay over the winter, yet on 4 occasions over the last few weeks I have collected 5 eggs in a day. 

Is it possible that being surrounded by 'layers' that my one of my old girls has been encouraged into joining in???  :blink:

One is a white sussex, the other a blue maran. I am struggling to remember if I had any eggs from them last year 

I've also got 6....2 (just) 3 year olds and 4 got last year.
The oldies both had a long period of soft eggs at different times and I assumed they were stopping. After getting the new ones my Bluebelle started laying alternate days and now my Magpie has finished her moult she is back laying every 2 days.
I reckon it's a pecking order thing and they've got to keep up with the youngsters!!! (Not really....just lucky I suppose.......) I can tell who's laying what because other than the 2 White Stars they are all different.
