Hedging at ALDI
« on: December 14, 2012, 17:52 »
Aldi are doing 10 packs of hedging for £1.99 They have got blackthorn (Sloe Gin here I come),beech,a couple of roses and Barberry.
I saw mine in the Sittingbourne branch, but not in the Maidstone one, so they may be limited.
I was wondering how long I can keep them in the bags

Are they bare root?

Ideal for planting right now! Unless your ground is frozen really solid....

Any other reports of hedging in Aldi. No mention on their website. I'll have a peek in the Darlo branch tomorrow.

Made a start have beds established but moved in too late for serious planting. We shall see what 2015 brings.

I had a look in the Sheerness branch today and they don't have them either.
But they still have them at the Sittingbourne store.
