I have grown Linzer Delikatess - a lovely salad potato, scab free, tasty.

Would like to try Linzer Delikatess as I love waxy salad spuds. May I ask where you bought seed potatoes from?

It was a couple of years ago when I bought mine from Pennard Plants.  Another place is Tuckers Seeds but I think they have none in stock which, I'm not too surprised for early May.

"Common" ones generally tend to be more reliable and tested over time, also suitable for most soil types, and because they are grown in bulk for the growers market, usually a bit cheaper.  I've tried many different varieties to see which do better, give good yields, tasty and less prone to disease on my plot and find I keep going back to some of the old favourites.
