GREENHOUSE HEATER
« on: April 11, 2008, 08:49 »
I'm looking to get a small paraffin heater for the G/H just to keep things above freezing. It will also save me the hassle of taking everything in at night if the forecast doesn't look too good, and then takling it all out again in the morning. Enough hassle with a vast workload AND feeding nextdoor's chicks.

I thought a small Parasene one would do the trick. G/H is 6 x 8.

Any thoughts/caveats?

The small one may keep it just above freezing, I would go for the bigger version that you can control so if a really hard frost is forcast you can increase the heat output a little.
