Runner beans

We will be freezing some runner beans soon. Do they have to be blanched first?

I have some of Aunty's runner beans and they're not only over the top of the 8 ft tall Munty frame but now growing back down to the ground. Another day of rain and they'll be crawling away

Loads of flowers so I expect a very good harvest; now to find some freezer space.

Pick them youngish before you can feel the beans inside Trillium. String the course edge or both before slicing them up. YUMMY

Thanks, Aunty. Shall do. Only other time I ate them, they were too large and very chewy. Ugh.
