I have just bought a white borage plant which i am going to put in to a container but i am not sure what soil mix i should put it.  I dont want to kill this one not had much look with Borage plants and i do love the flowers.

Borage will grow in virtually any soil and aspect.  It is possible that they do not like pots but I'm not sure!

I've got some self sown borage in a pot and it's fine.....just try to throw some water in its general direction when it's warm and it seems to cope.
