When to pick oriental oniions
« on: June 26, 2012, 06:44 »
I planted some oriental onions last Autumn under the guise that they will be much more early than maincrops as well as very big. To me they are still only  about 2 inches in diameter and hardly worth pulling. How long do I wait ?

Thanks.

Once the leaves fall over the onions are ready to harvest, although you can eat them at any point before that
