I like its simplicity but am I right in thinking that you have to boil up everything in the 1st stage, then transfer the bag of mush to the bin and pour the juice from the pan into the bucket ?
Is the boiling merely to neutralise the elderberries, in which case, should that be a separate stage for those alone ?

It looks to me Rob that you boil up the sugar lemon juice and yeast nutrient, but not the bag with the elderberries. I think he does it this way so that it's easier for him (or her) to remove the elderberries when the must is ready.

Yes, I think you're right. I misinterpreted that first para.

All I need to do is set aside an hour or so and get it started. Could be ready for next summer (or a bit before  ::)).
