Since I don't know whether my green monsters are squashes or marrows, I've never stuffed one!
How do I go about this?
I have sausage meat.
Do I put the 2 halves back together and roast as a whole.
Ideas on a post please!

I always cut my marrows into large rings after skinning them. Deseed, fill with minced beef, onions, garlic, peppers etc (fry up first). foil over in a baking tray for about an hour. Remove foil , grate strong cheese over and bake for twenty minutes or so. Job done. Occasionally I will make up a tomato sauce to go with it.

I'd do the rings too :tongue2: I'd go for something textural and with some added crunch and I would do a veg stuffing. I like meat but I think this lends itself to veg stuffing and you can really pack flavour in. Good tasty cheese on top is optional but I'd go for it.

I did a combination of the two hairy biker's recipes, and it turned out lovely. But I microwaved the overgrown hollowed-out courgette until just tender and and then stuffed it, half of the cheeses mixed in with mince, onions, tomatoes etc, and the rest on top and into the oven for about 45 mins.
