boading the inside of a shed

I am going to be boarding the inside of my shed shortly, it is a fairly old wood lap style shed and not entirely watertight as a result but is mainly sound. I want to keep it as water tight as possible inside and obvisouly don't want the inside boards to get damp. Is there anything (reasonably cheap preferably) I can put between the outside lapboards and the inside boards to keep the damp out?

I'd use a product which is known in the building trade as 'Building paper'. Really good stuff, keeps moisture out, but allows the timber to breath, which helps to stop rot. Dead easy to put up with a stapler. If you Google it there should be loads of suppliers.

You'll find all the builders suppliers like Jewsons sell it, I also think B&Q & Wickes sell it.
