some plant id please
« on: October 31, 2016, 12:49 »
Morning all we have just being doing some tidying up at the new place and come across some plants and am not sure of what to do with them for the winter
The green one at the front has yellow flowers in clusters in the summer.

Woman cannot live by bread alone , she must have cake , biscuits cheese and the occasional glass of wine .🍷

From the back - Creeping Jenny, astilbe, artemisia and I think the one at the front is a herbaceous hypericum  :)

Creeping Jenny certainly creeps - usually at about ninety miles an hour in our garden.

Creeping Jenny is a rockery plant and sometimes used in winter hanging baskets as well, but it does have weed like ideas when it comes to taking over the garden

All will fade away over autumn, so you can cut them back and tidy them as they start to look really sad.

Can you use the tree top as a Christmas tree?
