tree stump question
« on: September 20, 2013, 22:43 »
I have just moved into my new house and now have my first ever garden  :) :) :).
There is a small pine tree situated where I plan to put a shed- It is about 12ft high but shouldl come down easily.
The question is what to do about the stump, I can't dig all the roots out as it is right on the border of 3 other gardens, do I need to paint it with anything before I lay down slabs.

Thanks
Dmg

There are companies out there that will grind the stump away for you, otherwise you could end up with regrowth through your shed  ::)

I had 3 evergreens/conifers cut down to the ground a few years ago.............with no regrowth at all. A cherry tree, however, grew loads of suckers from the stump
