Apart from more digging when weather allows, I now have my egg boxes ready in the spare bedroom for my potatoes, a shelving system in the kitchen for my leek and onion seedlings (when I plant them) and box full of toilet and kitchen roll cardboard for planting seeds in.

I just hope I don't have anyone who wants to come to stay!
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

I have about 10 egg cartons and 70 cardboard loo rolls.  Not sure how many spuds and beans I am thinking of planting out in my limited space!

I meant Fenland Girl, but that's all right. I can't put the car in, full of vegetables, etc for winter storage. Really need a cellar, I'm toiling with the thought of digging one actually, like a small underground food chamber my granny used to have one. I'm just wondering it would be flooded. :?

I'm always a bit worried somebody might surprise me with a visit and hope to stay overnight.  The spare back bedroom is south facing and gets full sun and always warm is now dedicated as the "nursery" with a virtually permanent pasting table in front of the window for seedling trays.  The small bedroom was originally a "study room" but that is now the store for the toilet rolls, jam jars and other collectables for preserving produce, not to mention as you open the front door you are greeted with the wellies, bag of compost to go and some gardening tools I don't normally leave at the allotment, and the dining room (.... we won't go there!)
