My wee gal wants to grow competition carrots. Is this the place to get seeds from Jamie?
-
Yeah, bit expensive but he was showing me what he did, he said just put them in a pot and keep damp at all times, the one he recomended for me was abaco

Anyone know what they call the pots in the picture which the onions are growing ?
-
Big pots.
They look like DIY jobbies, so whatever you can lay your hand on to make them.
Some old plastic barrels with the tops and bottoms cut off, I suspect.
-
Cheers DD, wasnt sure if there was a specific name for them ::)
-
I was of course, joking.
They're actually "big onion pots". ;)
-
Ah of course ;)
-
They look like kettle drums or oil drums cleaned up! :D

hhhmmmmmmmnnnnn mr foster's exhibition seeds
yeah use his seed
me na thanks id rather not bother lol
just my opinion tho
-
the pots in the pic are clear polythene (heavy duty id guess) cut to size then wraped in black and white polythene
just to give peter an idea of where the roots of the onions are at he can take the black and white off to view

Thanks :)
