That looks a bit like moonscape Kevinp.  It'll warm up eventually and we can all get started on plans for the spring...... when it evetually gets here.

PS I love those blue thingymebobs your growing.... mine's still sat sitting in the shed waiting to be planted for the first time. Not used it before so still contemplating what lengths to cut it into. 

As the blue pipe is pretty cheap I cut mine quite long there is around a foot to a foot and a half in the ground. Around eight foot each I think So one 50mtr roll at £22.00 makes 20 hoops  the next thing will be to join the tops up.

Rescued a row of parsnip and swedes, dug out a row of flowers accross the front of the plot to make way for our permanant bean trench, cleaned out the shed and measured the plot ready for some planning. Aim to lay some narrow paths and fix some permanant beds to get some order on our plot!! also it will stop our 4year old trampling all over the soil and veg

my plot was only half dug this year, and the year ahead we want to grow a lot more, due to work and snow not had anytime , today I got on with it and turned over a large area, checked compost now ready, next few days I will dig it in.   we took a look at some carrots we had still in, and I will be pulling them for dinner (new years day) yum yum
