Tired but happy
« on: January 06, 2019, 15:44 »
I've just come in from spending the whole day in the garden. The sun was shining, 9degrees, the sparrows were cavorting and bees buzzing. (Well 2 of them on the ammonia. I've trimmed one garden and tidied. Leaving dead leaves and dead heads on floor so creepies and frogs can find safety before they go in the bin. I always check coz I found caterpillars and other insects had crawled to the top of the bin. I was heartbroken. Today i disturbed a baby frog but it crawled away. I put plenty of chicken muck down and the whole lot looks good. I will do the bigger wildlife garden next week. Fingers crossed. Nights are drawing out now.
