 I have three black rocks. All were brought at the same time and kept together.

However, I started noticing that Elsie was pecking feathers from Betty. Betty then fought back and Elsie has now turned her attention To Milly with a vengence. She chases her all around the run and is pulling out large clumps of feather which she then eats. I seem to remember reading on here that this could be due to a protein problem. They are fed on layers pellets with a corn treat, have grass to eat etc.

Elsie has now been seperated from the other two for a while in her own temporary house abd run in the hope that this will cure her addiction. Any others suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds as if it could be a deficiency.
You could try giving her some fish flavored cat food to give her a boost

Most people on here say that it might be protein deficiency and advise feeding cat food.
Feathers contain high levels of sulphur, so I wonder if it might in fact be due to a deficiency of this element. I suggest feeding her cooked scrambled egg as the eggy smell is due to hydrogen sulphide. I have never tried this as I don't have a feather eater at the moment, but it might be worth a try.
