Title: Hot bed or raised bed?!?!?!
Post by: Rammy Allotmenteer on March 28, 2018, 21:21
Hi. Just joined the forum and had my first anniversary as a plot holder. The attached image shows a creation which was originally going to be a muck pile but got a bit more developed than first planned and I am now wondering what to use it for. Would anyone have any suggestions? I thought about a hot bed or simply raised bed. Any other ideas?

Hi Rammy - I've added a rotated version of your photo to the post for you as it was hurting me to stand on my head :)
If you popped some sort of clear top on it would be great for getting squash off to an early start. You could take the top off when they were established and the weather warm.

Thanks so much for both sorting the image (not sure what happened there) and suggestions. I decided to go with spuds in the end. Three types of main crop.
