Title: I'm going to give it a go.
Post by: Mosslane on June 04, 2010, 18:18
Always thought about making wine especially as we have a good supply of damsons, blackberries and other wild fruits. Now we have seen how the professionals do it in France and got a taste for wine, we have taken the plunge. I have bought some secondhand equipment off ebay which has given us all we need and more for a very small layout so it is off nettle picking tomorrow.

I have a good book of country wines with many recipes so here goes.

I have read all the threads on here to pick up any tips I can so I guess I am prepared but if anyone has any tips for obvious things that first timers get wrong please feel free to comment.

Thanks

You may need a friend to give you an 'honest' opinion when its ready ;)....in fact they may  need a few glasses, just to be really sure :D

Well I guess thats a big enough hint. Perhaps we can organise a get together one day soon.
