With so many police being injured and put on the line, how about bringing in some our troops to bring some respite for the poor coppers.  What about water cannons as well.     Mrs Bouquet

Apparently Mrs B, we aren't allowed to use water cannon anymore, something to do with 'human rights' I read yesterday, that's why Boris wasn't allowed to deploy the one he bought for the Met Police!

Next decades chuck. Blackpool loves the punks in town and to be fair most punks love coming to Blackpool. Heard the council liaised with the coppers and was told to ensure there was no friction with punks as they want us back year after year

Certainly does, pubs and hotels love it, I know the landlady at the Rose n Crown pub and she says it is by far the best weekend financially. She is dreading the day it stops.
