Succession sowing AKA how do I keep the beds full
« on: April 27, 2012, 22:22 »
Im not sure I have that right either. .....
Anyways, what I would really like to know is how to keep the beds at the lottie full as much of the year as possible?
I sort of understand crop rotation but I end up with empty beds and that can't be right. I've sown Beetroot, carrots and parsnip, but want to sow another lot of Beetroot (succession sowing) and parsnip but can't do that in the empty beds as the beds are for French beans and sweetcorn later on and the Beetroot and parsnips won't be put by then. How can I make full use of the beds allmyear round? I just don't get it

I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!
