Tamar Organics are good. They have restricted web access and opening hours at the moment due to Covid but are worth the effort.

This year I have ordered from Tamar Organics, I’ve just had a lovely box of seeds delivered all paper packaged no foil or plastic. You get a good quantity of seeds in each pack. They were recommended to me buy a market gardener who’s used them for years.

What’s the difference with organic seed does it matter as the seed isn’t a plant don’t understand how it could be bad 😄

Horses for courses   :)

If you want to garden organically, organic seed makes sense.  If it is not that important to you or like most of us, you try to veer to the organic side without being too strict, you probably wouldn’t bother.

Doesn't it just mean that the organic seed has come from a plant that has been grown organically?

Because the generations of parent plants haven't been protected by artificial disease control, some say organic seed makes for more naturally disease resistant plants.

Great, thankyou for the replies, I will try Tamar Organics.

For me the fact the seed is certified organic just means I can guarantee that I am doing all I can to grow organically right from the start.

I am going to be saving many of my own seeds from now on so I wanted to start with organic and needed seeds that weren’t f1 hybrids.

Some non organic seeds use a fungicide, in the past I’ve accidentally purchase bright pink broad beans that were covered in a fungicide and also a squash variety.
