Title: Just arrived from from Canada. First timer.
Post by: Nookanook on February 05, 2017, 16:41
Hi, I'm in north London (now). I'm clearing my first allotment.
Shed, pond, overgrown fruit trees, rubbish and brambles.
Very excited.

Welcome to the forum complete with a lot of new virtual friends who always seem to have an answer for (almost) everything!  Me excluded, I'm usually in the asking for advice camp ::)

Welcome to the UK and to the forum, plus congratulations on your new plot  :)

Sounds like you have some work to do, but its a great time of year for clearance.  You'll be able to plant up and see the fruits of your labour soon  :)

Hi Nookanook... Hope you are settling well in the big metropolis... Welcome to the forum.   :)

New allotment. Brilliant. Wishing you luck with it.

Will you keep the pond? I'd love a little one - adds interest and a bit of biodiversity... frogs and things   ;)
Nice to sit and watch with a cup of tea in hand.. when there's time.

Welcome to the site (and the UK)

I grew up in Herts, not far from London.  Which end of Herts are you in?  :)
