Has anyone used one of these and do you have any recommendations.

I am not thinking of getting one of the larger ones but one that I can use a little but often to keep things weed free.

I'd not heard of these before your post but I'll be interested in what you find out.

All my tilling is done by shovel or spading fork.

I haven't seen or used an electric tiller, but depending on the size of the area you want to cultivate, I've used a Wolfgarten tiller head on their pole. Not that cheap to start with, and doesn't go very deep, but very quick compared to hoeing. You tend to have to buy the pole separately.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Bought the attached for £100. Used it yesterday and found it much easier that the traditional two handled and petrol varieties. Only done 10 minutes to prep for a row of spuds and still showed full power. No post tilling aches or pains, even with my very poorly back, and no need to walk on where you have just tilled. Much easier to control than petrol versions used.

Does not go as deep as some others but done a decent job and ideal for doing small a and regular jobs as no need to get petrol try and start and easy to transport.
